Lonely GirlOil, 24 x 18. This was painted in one sitting from the live model. It took a First Place prize in the annual League of Reston Artists' show at the US Geological Survey National Center in August 2012. Funny how even the thighs of slim women (and this was a slim model) squish out when we sit. The background wasn't interesting, so I played with the colors abstractly. |
