Sunflower BouquetOil, 14 x 18. I've never been particularly fond of flowers as a still life subject, but these drew my attention and I handled them somewhat abstractly. This painting was accepted into the August, 2011 juried show at the Art League of Alexandria, Torpedo Factory, on display throughout August. Juror: Dr. Barbara Wolanin, Curator of the Capitol. |
